We’re recruiting for an Automation & Metallics Engineer to join a Manufacturing Technologies team, supporting advanced production through automation and robotics.
The Role
- Deploy and support automated machinery in complex assembly environments
- Develop automated processes (drilling, fastening, cold-working, sealing)
- Work with robotics, Cartesian systems, and cobots
- Define and introduce new machinery in line with safety standards
- Provide technical support and continuous improvement to existing equipment
- Lead and support automation-focused projects
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Background in automation and/or robotics
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Understanding of Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) and REACH Regulation
- Project management experience
- Strong problem-solving skills (PPS)
- Data analysis skills with tools like Minitab or Skywise
- Good communication and stakeholder management
What You’ll Get
