Solution 47 Recruitment is supporting our client, a well-established business within the B2B sector, is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager / Customer Service Coordinator to join their team on a min 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role sits at the heart of the customer operation, responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating orders, and ensuring a seamless end-to-end service experience.
The Role
You will act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of B2B customers, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time, while building strong, long-term relationships.
This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role that requires excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Account Management
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of B2B clients
- Act as the primary point of contact for all customer queries and requests
- Build strong relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Order Management & Coordination
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Monitor order progress from placement through to delivery
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely fulfilment
Customer Service
- Handle enquiries, issues, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Provide updates on orders, stock availability, and delivery timelines
- Resolve problems quickly to minimise disruption to the customer
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Logistics teams
- Ensure clear communication of customer requirements and priorities
- Support continuous improvement in processes and service delivery
Administration & Systems
- Maintain accurate customer records and order data
- Use internal systems (ERP/CRM) to manage accounts and track activity
- Produce reports and updates where required
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience in a B2B customer service, account management, or order coordination role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident using systems such as ERP or CRM platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Desirable:
- Experience within a product-based, distribution, or manufacturing environment
- Experience handling high-volume orders or key accounts
