Spire Southampton has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their friendly and welcoming Cardiac department. The successful applicant will work in a team that provides high quality evidence-based nursing care in ward-based settings. You must be flexible to work a variety of shifts across days and nights and weekends on a 0 hours contract

Duties and responsibilities

• To support staff, ensuring high standards of effective cardiac care are delivered to all patients on the Cardiac ward
• Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individuals' health and wellbeing needs.
• Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
• Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
• Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
• Assist in maintaining and developing services.

Who we're looking for

• You will be a Registered Nurse.
• Be used to working in teams with minimum supervision.
• Relevant cardiac experience or experience working in an acute setting
• Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration

Working Hours: Variation of long days, nights, earlies and lates

Contract Type: Bank - 0 hours flexible
