JML are currently recruiting for 4 x Highways Operatives to join a major highways maintenance contract across Gloucestershire, with depots located throughout the region.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term career prospects, training, and progression—including LGV driver training.

Job Details:

• Location: Various depots across Gloucestershire (including Cirencester – GL7 5DT)
• Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (PAYE)
• Hours: 40 hours per week. 07:30am start
• Start Date: 27th April 2026
• Overtime: Paid after 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general highways maintenance and labouring duties
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Support skilled operatives and site teams
• Ensure health & safety standards are followed at all times

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Previous experience in manual or outdoor roles (e.g. construction, waste/refuse, factory work)
• Good work ethic and reliability
• Willingness to learn and progress within the role
