Are you confident building relationships, managing challenging behaviour, and helping students stay engaged and motivated?

Apex Educ8 is currently recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and welcoming school in NW2, London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives while gaining valuable experience within education.

The school is looking for a strong role model who can support students both academically and emotionally, helping them overcome barriers to learning and positively engage within the school environment.

The Role:

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural and emotional needs
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Support students with emotional regulation, confidence, and engagement
• Help manage challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies
• Work closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral staff
• Encourage students to stay focused, motivated, and on task
• Create a safe, calm, and supportive environment for learning

• SEMH Support
• Psychology Graduates
• Coaching or Community-Based Roles

The Ideal Candidate:

• Confident working with young people
• Calm, resilient, and patient under pressure
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Passionate about supporting students who may need additional guidance
• Able to build rapport quickly and act as a positive role model
• Arabic speaking is a bonus due to the school’s high cohort of EAL students
