TITLE: Bench Joiner
BASED: North Norfolk
SALARY: Starting Salary: NEG based on experience
Temp to perm for the successful candidate.

Fulltime hours

Hours 07.30 – 16.00 Mon-Thurs

07.30 – 15.00 Fri

30 minute break for lunch

39 hrs per week , this is based on a 39 hour week with the opportunity of overtime.

Our client are currently looking to recruit an experience skilled Bench Joiner to join their busy, close-knit team.

We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated person to complement our team of skilled craftsmen.

Key Requirements for the role:

• Experience of all associated bench joinery duties and skills needed for working with wood, along with assembling premanufactured timber components and working with wood components
• Understanding of working from technical workshop drawings
• Produce high quality products in line with exceptional company standards
• Comply with all company Health & Safety procedures and ensure personal health and safety

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Experience in a workshop (Wood/timber/woodworking) setting

• NVQ/ City and Guilds qualification in carpentry/ joinery (desired but not essential)

• Hands on experience using woodworking machinery (i.e. spindle-moulder, planer etc)

• Ability to understand and work from design drawings

• Finish to a high standard

• To be able to use one’s own initiative while working
