Biology Teacher

CCS is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join a secondary school on a long-term supply basis with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging Biology lessons and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

• Teaching Biology to students in Years 7–10
• Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons
• Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress
• Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Building strong relationships with students, staff and parents
• Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
• Contributing positively to the wider school community

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) =

• Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to build excellent rapport with students and staff
• A flexible, proactive and professional approach
• A genuine passion for teaching and learning

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
• Satisfactory references covering employment history
• All compliance and safeguarding checks completed in line with Safer Recruitment guidelines
