Blending Operative

Location: Deeside, Flintshire
Pay Rate: £13.94 - £14.42 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 3:00pm | Friday, 6:00am - 12:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Hexagon Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Chemical Blending Operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Deeside. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with production or chemical blending experience looking to secure a long-term, temp-to-perm position.

Working within a busy production environment, you will be responsible for blending products to specification, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Duties Include:

• Blending materials in line with production specifications and procedures
• Operating FLT equipment to move raw materials, finished products, and stock safely throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Supplying blending materials to production lines and ensuring materials are available when required
• Measuring, weighing, and mixing raw materials accurately
• Monitoring production processes and maintaining quality standards
• Completing production records and documentation
• Supporting packing and dispatch activities as required
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience within chemical blending, manufacturing, or a production environment is preferred
• Valid FLT licence is essential
• Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences are highly desirable
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to follow processes and work instructions accurately
• Reliable and proactive approach to work
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices
