We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Bodyshop Prepper. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Bodyshop Prepper seeking to join a reputable and busy bodyshop environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in vehicle preparation, masking, polishing, and paint correction, ensuring high standards of quality workmanship.

Duties as a Bodyshop Prepper:
  • Prepare vehicles meticulously, including masking and sanding prior to painting
  • Carry out vehicle polishing and paint correction as required to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Support alloy wheel refurbishment and SMART repairs when qualified
  • Maintain a safe and tidy workshop environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assist with various finishing tasks, including masking, sanding, and polishing
  • Work efficiently in a busy setting to meet deadlines and ensure consistency
  • Liaise with team members to deliver excellent results and uphold quality standards
Requirements for the Bodyshop Prepper position:
  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Prepper or similar role within the automotive industry
  • Skilled in vehicle masking, prepping, polishing, and finishing
  • Ability to perform paint correction and wheel refurbishment tasks if qualified
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of duties within the bodyshop environment
  • Good communication skills and a team player attitude
