Our client is a prominent freight forwarder with a reputation for excellence. They are looking for someone to take the reins of an existing team, drive commercial growth, and assume full P&L responsibility for the branch.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will be the driving force behind the Newcastle branch's success. Your focus will be split between operational excellence and aggressive business development.

Strategic Leadership: Full P&L responsibility, mapping annual revenue targets, and delivering high service levels.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow an existing operational team, creating a scalable model for long-term success.
Commercial Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships to increase market share.
Operational Oversight: Ensure seamless service delivery across sea freight, with other modes (Air/Road) as an advantage.

About You
This role is perfectly suited for either an existing Branch Manager looking for a new challenge or a high-performing Sea Freight Operations Manager ready to take their first step into a branch leadership position.

Expertise: Deep operational knowledge of Sea Freight is essential.
Commercial Acumen: A proven track record of winning new business and managing key accounts.
Leadership: Experience managing and motivating teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Mindset: Highly ambitious, target-driven, and comfortable with the autonomy to shape a business unit.
