We are a growing, London-based fit-out construction contracting business looking for a results-driven Business Development Director to bring in new work and drive revenue. This role is not about theory or strategy decks — it’s about generating leads, winning contracts, and building a pipeline that converts.
You will have the freedom to operate independently, with flexible working arrangements. This role can suit someone looking for a part-time or freelance position, provided you can consistently deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new project opportunities within construction and related sectors
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, and decision-makers
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into signed work
- Actively pursue tenders, direct awards, and negotiated contracts
- Develop and execute practical strategies to increase revenue
- Represent the business professionally in meetings and negotiations

- Proven track record in business development within construction or a related industry
- Strong network
- Self-sufficient, proactive, and commercially focused
- Comfortable working on a performance-driven basis
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
