An ambitious clean-tech innovator is scaling rapidly across the UK and is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to lead growth in the booming Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) market.
This is more than a sales role. It’s an opportunity to build strategic partnerships, influence commercial strategy, and play a key role in the UK’s transition to a smarter, lower-carbon energy system.
Key duties:
- Driving UK commercial growth across the energy storage sector
- Winning and closing high-value B2B partnerships
- Building relationships with utilities, infrastructure providers, OEMs, EPCs, leasing & finance partners
- Leading complex negotiations with senior stakeholders and C-suite decision makers
- Helping shape innovative commercial models including Energy-as-a-Service and leasing solutions
- Working alongside engineering and operations teams to bring cutting-edge projects to life
What We’re Looking For
- Proven business development or commercial leadership experience
- Strong track record closing complex UK B2B deals
- Experience working within fast-growth or scale-up environments
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to delivery
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and building long-term partnerships
It would be great if you have experience In:
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Renewables or energy infrastructure
- EV charging or distributed energy
- Leasing, project finance, or Energy-as-a-Service models
