An ambitious clean-tech innovator is scaling rapidly across the UK and is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to lead growth in the booming Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) market.

This is more than a sales role. It’s an opportunity to build strategic partnerships, influence commercial strategy, and play a key role in the UK’s transition to a smarter, lower-carbon energy system.

Key duties:

  • Driving UK commercial growth across the energy storage sector
  • Winning and closing high-value B2B partnerships
  • Building relationships with utilities, infrastructure providers, OEMs, EPCs, leasing & finance partners
  • Leading complex negotiations with senior stakeholders and C-suite decision makers
  • Helping shape innovative commercial models including Energy-as-a-Service and leasing solutions
  • Working alongside engineering and operations teams to bring cutting-edge projects to life

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven business development or commercial leadership experience
  • Strong track record closing complex UK B2B deals
  • Experience working within fast-growth or scale-up environments
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to delivery
  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and building long-term partnerships

It would be great if you have experience In:

  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
  • Renewables or energy infrastructure
  • EV charging or distributed energy
  • Leasing, project finance, or Energy-as-a-Service models
