Our client is expanding its IoT offering into the UK, building on an established and successful platform across the Nordics and Europe.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join their high-performing sales team covering the M4 Corridor/Southwest and South Wales region
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience within the security, monitoring, SAS, Telecoms or IT sectors to play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities while also growing existing client relationships across multiple sectors.
You will adopt a consultative and solutions-led sales approach, helping customers protect their people, property, and assets through innovative rapid response and monitoring services.
This is a highly autonomous role suited to a commercially focused self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage new customer relationships across target sectors
- Identify and secure new commercial contracts to achieve ambitious growth targets
- Grow and maximise revenue opportunities within existing accounts
- Deliver consultative, solution-based sales presentations tailored to client needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify cross-selling opportunities
- Contribute innovative ideas and commercial insight to support business strategy
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
- Take full ownership of increasing both product and recurring revenue streams
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support long-term growth
Essential Experience & Skills:
Experience selling into B2B sectors such as:
- Security
- Monitoring
- SAS,
- Telecoms
- IT sectors
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets
- Strong background in solution or consultative sales
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into long-term commercial partnerships
