Business Development Manager – Site Accommodation & Modular Solutions

A market-leading provider within the site accommodation and modular solutions sector is looking to recruit an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support continued growth across Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience within site accommodation, modular buildings, welfare units, portable cabins, plant hire or the wider equipment rental sector.

The business has an outstanding reputation within the industry, offering high-quality solutions across construction, infrastructure, utilities, industrial and housebuilding markets.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while also managing and growing existing customer relationships across Scotland.

This is a field-based role focused on building long-term partnerships with contractors, project managers, procurement teams and decision-makers across a wide range of sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and winning new business opportunities across Scotland
  • Managing and developing existing customer accounts
  • Promoting a range of site accommodation and modular solutions
  • Building relationships with main contractors, regional builders and infrastructure businesses
  • Conducting customer site visits and presenting tailored solutions
  • Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing deals
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Maintaining a strong sales pipeline and delivering against growth targets
  • Monitoring market activity and competitor movements

The Candidate

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven field sales experience within site accommodation, modular buildings, plant hire, tool hire or equipment rental
  • Strong new business development skills
  • Ability to build relationships with customers at all levels
  • Self-motivated, driven and commercially astute
  • Strong knowledge of the Scottish construction and infrastructure market would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Full UK driving licence
