Duties as a Business Development Manager:
  • Generate new business by prospecting and engaging with potential B2B clients
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing and new customers within the Preston area
  • Conduct outbound sales calls, face-to-face meetings, and follow-ups to achieve sales targets
  • Promote and sell new and fleet vehicles, tailoring proposals to customer needs
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and vehicle sales procedures
  • Stay updated on vehicle specifications and industry developments to enhance customer proposals
  • Act as a brand ambassador to uphold dealership reputation and values
  • Meet and beat set KPIs and sales objectives consistently
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar B2B vehicle sales role
  • Strong understanding of fleet and vehicle sales processes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and within a team
  • Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple leads and accounts effectively
  • Valid driving licence is essential
  • A positive attitude and a passion for automotive sales and customer service
