Business Development Consultant | Hybrid (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)

We’re looking for a Business Development Consultant to join an established but growing organisation. This is a consultative outbound role, suited to someone confident on the phone, curious about how businesses operate, and motivated by uncovering opportunities rather than pushing a hard sale.

You’ll be proactive in reaching out to new prospects, asking the right questions, and positioning solutions that make sense for each organisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Making outbound calls to introduce the business and start high‑quality conversations
  • Engaging senior stakeholders in a professional, consultative way
  • Understanding challenges, priorities, and commercial objectives
  • Identifying where the solutions can add genuine value
  • Presenting ideas clearly and confidently
  • Turning leads into qualified opportunities
  • Building long‑term relationships from first contact
  • Maintaining accurate CRM notes and sharing market insight

  • Experience in business development, telesales, or outbound calling
  • A confident and professional telephone manner
  • A consultative mindset — you listen before offering solutions
