Business Support Officer

Salary: £34,092 - £40,109

Location: Birmingham – Hybrid (two days working from our Birmingham office, three days from home).

Hours: Full-Time

Contract: Permanent

Due to an internal move, we are seeking a dedicated Business Support Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Senior Operations Manager with operational coordination, administration, and performance monitoring across our Corporate Resources Directorate.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience while making a meaningful contribution to the work of the General Dental Council.

About you:

- Experience providing administrative, operational, or business support within a corporate or operational environment.
- Experience maintaining records, databases, and documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
- Understanding of contract administration, procurement administration, or supplier management processes. 
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 
- Ability to produce accurate reports, correspondence, presentations, and records. 
- Understanding confidentiality, information handling, and data protection requirements.
