Your responsibilities as Butchery Assistant
  • Accurately package and label products ready for distribution
  • Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
  • Carry out cutting, mincing and dicing tasks as part of daily production
  • Support weekly sausage production processes
  • Maintain strict hygiene standards across equipment, workspace and products
  • Assist with stock control, including goods in and goods out
What we’re looking for in a Butchery Assistant
  • Previous experience within a meat or food production environment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, hands-on setting
  • Strong attention to detail when handling and preparing products
  • Ability to travel to a remote location with own transport
  • Experience with packing processes or sausage production (desirable)
Working hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility including occasional Saturdays
