Your responsibilities as Butchery Operative
  • Prepare, cut, mince and dice meat products to required specifications
  • Package and label products accurately for dispatch
  • Support weekly sausage production and other batch processes
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene across equipment, workspace and product
  • Assist with stock control from goods in through to goods out
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with food production regulations
What we’re looking for in a Butchery Operative
  • Previous experience working within food production or a similar environment
  • Understanding of food hygiene standards and compliance requirements
  • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely and consistently
  • Comfortable working in chilled environments
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport
  • Experience in packing and sausage making would be beneficial
You will be working 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a degree of flexibility as per the needs of the business.
