Working for a specialist engineering firm who design, manufacture and install bespoke work in the construction industry.  
 
Job Description: 
  • As the CAD Designer you will produce GA's working to Datum's and Grid lines.
  • Produce detailed fabrication drawings.
  • As the CAD Designer you will design of Staircases Balustrades and Secondary Steelwork
  • Produce drawings using AutoCAD/ Inventor/ Solidworks. All platforms are available to users
  • As the CAD Designer you will manage projects include some of the UK's highest profile construction projects.
  • Must be able to work from own initiative.
  • Must be able to communicate well with customers/ suppliers.
Candidate Requirements:  
  • Experience using AutoCAD is essential
  • Experience with BIM or Tekla essential
  • Experience in Solid Works or Autodesk Inventor is essential
  • Experience within steelworks or metalworks would be highly advantageous however will consider a CAD Designer that has used other materials
  • 3d experience vital would be ideal
This role is commutable from: Stoke on Trent, Fenton, Longton, Uttoxeter, Cheadle, Leek, Newcastle under Lyme, Keele, Stone, Stafford and surrounding areas
 
This role would suit candidates with the following experience: CAD Designer, Draughtsman, Design Engineer, Mechanical Design,
 
Hours: Monday – Friday, start and finish times can be flexible between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm
Salary:  £45,000 - £55,000 Per Annum
