My client is a well-established engineering business with a strong reputation within its specialist sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a CAD Engineer to join their technical office team, supporting the design and modification of existing engineered systems and products.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD Engineer who enjoys detailed design work, collaborating with internal teams, and working within a fast-paced engineering environment.

The Role – CAD Engineer
  • Producing detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings
  • Modifying and updating existing designs and layouts
  • Using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD for design and drawing work
  • Creating and maintaining manufacturing drawings and BOMs
  • Supporting engineering and production teams with technical documentation
  • Making drawing amendments in line with the project and manufacturing requirements
  • Ensuring drawings comply with company and industry standards
  • Working closely with internal departments within an office-based engineering team
  • Day shifts, Monday to Friday
Minimum Skills / Experience Required – CAD Engineer
  • Previous experience working as a CAD Engineer or Design Engineer
  • Experience using SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Background within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
  • Ability to produce accurate technical and manufacturing drawings
  • Understanding of production and engineering processes
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
