Café Assistant / Kitchen Assistant
Location: South Kensington, London
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Café/Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team in South Kensington.
The Role
This is a hands-on position that involves basic food preparation alongside front-of-house duties. While previous experience is helpful, full training will be provided for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Basic food preparation and cooking (training provided)
- Preparing and serving hot drinks, including coffee
- Counter service and customer interaction
- Stock ordering and stock taking
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Supporting the team with general café duties
Skills & Experience
- Basic cooking skills
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities
Working Hours
- Currently a middle shift position
- Flexibility required to open or close in the future
- Ability to cover holidays and absences when needed
