Our client, a reputable multi-franchise automotive dealer group operating across Southwest England since 1996, is seeking a highly motivated New/Used Car Sales Executive to join their established dealership in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for Car Sales Executives with a strong sales or customer service background to develop their career within a respected and customer-focused environment. The successful Car Sales Executive will be responsible for selling a wide range of vehicles, providing exceptional service, and building lasting customer relationships.

  • Basic annual salary of £21,000, with uncapped on-target earnings exceeding £45,000 based on sales performance

Duties:
  • Sell new and used vehicles, including add-ons, accessories, finance, insurance, and warranty products
  • Keep customers informed of delivery timelines, manage queries, and resolve any issues prior to vehicle collection
  • Explain warranty and service arrangements, and introduce customers to the Service Department
  • Demonstrate vehicle features and provide ongoing support to customers
  • Collect payments and process paperwork efficiently, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Build rapport with customers to promote repeat business and referrals
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming showroom environment
Requirements for the Car Sales Executive Position:
  • Prior car sales experience is advantageous but not essential; Car Sales Executives with a strong sales or customer service background are encouraged to apply
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Confident communicator with a professional and customer-focused approach
  • Results-driven attitude with a desire to succeed
  • Ability to build long-lasting relationships with customers
  • A genuine passion for the automotive industry and delivering excellent service
This role offers a rewarding career path for individuals eager to succeed in the motor trade. The working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm, with one day off in the week; Saturdays are 8:30am to 5:00pm, and Sundays are 10:00am to 4:00pm, with one in two Sundays off.
