Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Cardiff, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Used Car Sales Manager to lead their sales team towards achieving and exceeding set targets.

Duties as a Used Car Sales Manager:
  • Leading, motivating, and developing a team of 4 Used Car Sales Executives and a Business Manager to meet and surpass sales targets
  • Formulating and implementing sales strategies in collaboration with senior management to maximise profitability from vehicle sales, finance, insurance, and accessories
  • Driving customer satisfaction and retention through delivering excellent service, a core focus of the Used Car Sales Manager position
  • Overseeing stock control and forecourt operations to ensure vehicle presentation and availability are optimal
  • Analyzing sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and adjusting team efforts accordingly
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies and industry regulations as part of the Used Car Sales Manager responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Proven management experience within a franchise-approved car dealership, ideally within a busy brand environment
  • A strong background in used car sales management with a successful record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Extensive understanding of F&I processes and vehicle finance solutions
  • Experience leading medium to large-sized dealership teams
  • Excellent leadership skills, capable of leading by example
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and communicate effectively with team members
