Whether you’re helping with daily routines, encouraging someone to try something new, or simply being a friendly, reassuring presence, your support will help people feel safe, valued and heard.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting with personal care, health needs and everyday living
• Helping people make choices and express what matters to them
• Encouraging hobbies, independence and community involvement
• Building trusted relationships with families, professionals and colleagues
• Creating a safe, clean and positive environment
• Keeping accurate records and contributing to reviews and team meetings

What we’re looking for

You don’t need extensive experience — what matters most is your attitude.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• A strong communicator who can build trust
• Resilient, reliable and able to adapt
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Passionate about helping people live fulfilling lives

Experience in care is helpful, but not essential — we’ll provide training and support.

Important to know

• This is a 24/7 service, including evenings, weekends and overnight (sleep-in) shifts
• The role is based in Saffron Walden, so a driving licence and access to a vehicle are highly desirable
• You’ll join a small, supportive team where your contribution really matters
