A welcoming secondary school in Haringey is seeking a reliable Caretaker to join their site team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security and presentation of the school site, ensuring a safe environment for students, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and locking the school site
- Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance
- Monitoring health and safety compliance
- Setting up rooms for school events and examinations
- Liaising with contractors and external visitors
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous caretaker, facilities or site assistant experience
- Good practical maintenance skills
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
