Michael Page are working with a well-established business who are looking for a Cash & Banking Accountant to support their Cash & Banking team on a short-term 2‑month contract in Warrington. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping day-to-day finance operations running smoothly during a busy period.

Description

The Cash & Banking Accountant duties include:

• Multi-currency bank reconciliations
• Posting and matching bank transactions
• Supporting daily cashflow reporting
• Processing payments
• Assisting with month-end close and balance sheet recs
• Supporting the wider finance team with treasury-related tasks

Profile

A successful Cash & Banking Accountant should have:

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) or strong transactional accountant, QBE.
• Experience with bank recs and high-volume finance processes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Excel skills
