Location: Glasgow Airport

Hours: Full time - Shifts will operate between 5am-11pm and you must be fully flexible for any shifts between these hours across the week. Weekend working is expected

Flexibility required

Pay Rate: £14.73 per hour

Contract: Temporary ongoing

About the Role:

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting experienced Chefs to join a fast-paced and high-performing catering operation at Glasgow Airport.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, customer-focused environment, preparing high-quality dishes for airline customers while maintaining industry-leading standards.

Key Responsibilities:

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting a range of dishes
  • Supporting food presentations for airline customers
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workstation
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Carrying out manual handling tasks such as bending and reaching when required
  • Completing additional duties as requested

Requirements

To be considered, you must:

  • Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 or 706/2, or NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Catering
  • Have previous experience working as a Chef in a catering environment
  • Be fully knife trained
  • Have strong knowledge of a wide range of cuisines, including traditional and contemporary dishes
  • Be comfortable working shift patterns, including evenings and weekends
  • Be physically capable of manual handling duties
