Vetro Recruitment is seeking Children's Residential Support Workers to join children's homes in Caerphilly. This role supports vulnerable young people with day-to-day care, emotional wellbeing, and safe, consistent routines.

Key Duties

• Support children and young people with day-to-day activities and interests
• Promote independence and wellbeing, encouraging positive outcomes
• Provide emotional and practical support within the home
• Support participation in weekend activities, trips, and holidays alongside the team
• Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines to support safe care
• Support, oversee and learn to minimise incidents when behaviour can be challenging

Requirements

• A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
• Empathetic, caring, and resilient approach
• At least 6 months experience working with children or within a similar social care setting
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
