Full time - Temporary to Permanent

Rate: £100 - £120 per day (Experience Depending)

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant / CIEAG Advisor to join our team at a specialist SEN school in Knowsley.

This is a rewarding dual-role position, combining general classroom support with responsibility for delivering careers education and guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality support to teaching staff and students across the school
• Assist with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons
• Lead on careers education, information, advice and guidance (CIEAG)
• Support students with work experience opportunities and career pathways
• Contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Strong knowledge and experience of SEND and SEMH needs
• Understanding of trauma-informed approaches and restorative practice
• Familiarity with careers guidance frameworks, including the Gatsby Benchmarks
• Experience supporting young people with additional needs in an educational setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
