Civils Quality Engineer

Location: AWE Burghfield
Contract Type: Long-Term Contract
Rate: £48 per hour
IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Working Arrangement: Full-Time, Site Based
We are currently seeking an experienced Civils Quality Engineer to support a major infrastructure programme based at AWE Burghfield. This is a long-term opportunity for a quality professional with strong civils experience and active security clearance.

• Review and acceptance of procedures and documentation in accordance with QC1 requirements
• Carry out QC inspections in line with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
• Ongoing review and final acceptance of Lifetime Quality Records (LTRs)
• Witness testing activities and conduct on-site inspections
• Attend project and quality-related meetings as required
• Verify works against approved detailed design drawings and specifications

• Live SC Clearance (or higher) - mandatory
• Previous experience within a quality-related role on a major infrastructure or civils project
• Strong civils background
• Experience carrying out on-site inspections against approved detailed designs
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Valid CSCS Card
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

• Candidates without existing live SC clearance cannot be considered
