Class 1 Driver

Job Title: Class 1 Flatbed Driver - Steel Deliveries (FULL TIME - PERMANENT ROLE)

Location: Telford

Pay: £16.67 per hour + Overtime (after 8 hours x1.3 first 2 hours // x1.5 after 2 hours) | Weekly Pay

GI Group UK are looking for an experienced Class 1 Flatbed Driver to join our client in Telford, delivering steel products across the UK for his exciting full time opportunity.

The Role:

• Class 1 flatbed work delivering steel products nationwide
• Typically 8-11 hours per day
• Usually 1-2 drops per day, depending on distance
• Securing loads using straps and ratchets (experience essential)
• Full site-based training provided
• Taking photo/video evidence before and after deliveries
• 06:00 AM start time
• Monday to Friday work (overtime available)

Pay & Benefits:

• £16.67 per hour
• Plenty of overtime available x1.3 first 2 hours // x1.5 after 2 hours

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Proven experience using straps and ratchets on flatbed trailers
• Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first approach
• Ability to provide photo/video evidence as required
