Class 1 Driver - Nights
Location: Gloucester
Shifts: Monday to Friday 02:00 - 12:00
Pay Rate: £17.71 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established automotive logistics provider based in Gloucester. This is a Monday to Friday night role with no weekend work, offering consistent routes and a stable working schedule.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries (typically 8-10 drops per shift)
• Deliver car parts to dealerships, including both caged and palletised goods (ranging from small parts to larger items such as bumpers)
• Load and unload vehicles as required, supporting warehouse operations
• Operate pallet trucks and move cages safely and efficiently
• Return empty cages from delivery locations
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of delivery routes

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV licence
• Previous experience in general haulage and multi-drop deliveries preferred
• Willingness to support warehouse operations as part of a team
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Ability to work flexibly to meet operational needs
