Class 1 Driver

Proactive Personnel Ltd are recruiting for a long term, Class 1 role for our client based in Somercotes.

If you are you an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver looking for consistent start times, regular hours and are able to commit to 2 nights out per week, this is the ideal opportunity for you!

You must have a minimum of 1 year experience to be considered.

DUTIES:

• Being client facing, reliable & knowledgeable.
• Driving to multiple RDC's across the UK
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Liaising with customers and clients in a professional and proficient manner
• Valid CPC.
• Excellent driving skills and a maximum of 6 points.
• Ability to navigate using GPS or other routing systems.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.

An average of two nights out per week.

You can expect to work between 50 - 60 hours per week.

NO handball and NO weekends are required.

Hours:

• 04:00 - 06:00 starts
• Monday to Thursday (Friday is an optional extra shift).

Pay:

• £15.46 - £19.00 per hour (PAYE - Umbrella).
• Nights out are paid at £27.50 per hour.
