  📍 Location: Normanton, WF6

  🕒 Job Type: Full-time / Ongoing Contract

  📅 Shift Pattern

  • Shifts are any 5 from 7, all with 2 days off together
  • Trunking/store deliveries
  • Start Times Between: 1300 - 1700

  ✨Position Overview

  The Best Connection are looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our client's well-established transport operation in Normanton.

  • Store deliveries.
  • Bay and tail lift deliveries.
  • Driving Class 1 vehicles for general haulage.
  • Driving assessment prior to shift, this includes manoeuvring and reversing so must be competent at this.

  💷 Pay Rates - C+E and Licence Required

  • Class 1 - £16.63 - £27.32 per hour
  • Overtime after 10 hours
  • Days - 0400-1800 £16.63 per hour
  • Nights- 1800-0400 £19.00 per hour
  • Saturdays - £21.08 per hour
  • Sundays - £27.32 per hour

  ✅ Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Valid C+E (Class 1) licence with minimal experience but must pass a driving assessment.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physically capable of assisting with unloading if required
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Safely complete local or distance deliveries.
  • Assist with loading/unloading as required.
  • Deliver goods with excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to health & safety standards and driving regulations.
