About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for ongoing work based in Northampton. This role involves primarily night shifts and weekend work, carrying out trunking operations between depots and distribution centres with no handball involved.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled trunking runs between RDCs, hubs, and customer depots
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
• Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately
• Comply with all DVSA, tachograph, and Working Time regulations
• Maintain high standards of professionalism when representing the business

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience
• Good understanding of UK road transport legislation
• Comfortable working independently on night shifts
• Reliable, flexible, and available for regular weekend work
