Class 1 HGV Driver Required

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join our growing transport team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers seeking regular work, competitive rates of pay, and ongoing career opportunities.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently

• Completing trunking, RDC, depot-to-depot, store deliveries, or general haulage work

• Conducting vehicle checks and reporting defects

• Ensuring compliance with driver hours, WTD, and road transport regulations

• Completing delivery paperwork and PODs accurately

• Maintaining high standards of customer service

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence

• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

• Digital Tachograph Card

• Good understanding of UK driving regulations

• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience 

• No more than [6] penalty points (no DD, DR, IN endorsements)

Pay Rates

• Days: £18 per hour

• Nights: £20.17 per hour

• Weekends: £20.17 to £22.00 per hour
