Location: Peterborough
Hours: 40 hours a week

About the Role

We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our team in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a driver looking for regular weekday work with no weekend requirements and consistent daytime hours.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance with all transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections in a timely manner.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Ensure all loads are transported safely and securely.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Follow all company policies and road transport legislation.
• Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours regulations and road safety requirements.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.
• Minimum 3 years of Class 2 Driving experience
