Class 2 HGV Driver / Site Assistant

💰 Starting Salary: £45,000+ per annum

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business in Croydon for a reliable and adaptable HGV Driver / Site Assistant to join their team.

This is a varied, hands-on role that offers much more than just driving. You'll play a key part in the day-to-day operation of the business, supporting vehicle movements, customer service, and site activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery of customer vehicles
• Moving vehicles between company sites and yards
• Collecting vehicle parts and supplies as required
• Assisting with vehicle washing and preparation when needed
• Supporting the wider team with general site duties

About You

• Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence – essential
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused
• Comfortable working in a varied role where no two days are the same
• Flexible and willing to assist with a range of operational tasks
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

What's on Offer?

• Starting salary of approximately £45,000 per year
• Monday to Friday working pattern (7:00am – 5:00pm)
• Flexibility on hours can be discussed for the right candidate
• 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
