Class 2 HGV Driver

At STEM Recruitment, we are recruiting an experienced HGV Driver for one of our clients. 

The role will include the following:

• Operate an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to complete daily collections, including commercial, industrial, and environmental waste streams.
• Carry out pre-use and post-use vehicle checks in line with legislation and company procedures.
• Ensure safe loading, transportation and tipping of materials.
• Complete daily route sheets, delivery notes and digital records accurately.
• Report vehicle defects immediately and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Essential:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC card
• Digital Tachograph card
• Experience in driving large goods vehicles
• Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles
• Knowledge of transport legislation and safe driving practices
