Classroom Support Assistant

Contract: Term time only

A welcoming primary school is looking for a Primary Classroom Assistant to support pupils across the classroom and wider school environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is caring, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping children thrive in education.

You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning, behaviour, and classroom routines.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Patient, positive, and encouraging approach.

• Ability to support learning and behaviour effectively.

• Enhanced DBS and references.

Key responsibilities:

• Support pupils in lessons and classroom activities.

• Work with individuals and small groups where needed.

• Help maintain positive behaviour and engagement.

• Support teachers with resources and routines.

• Encourage pupils' confidence and independence.
