About the Role

Prospero Teaching are looking for a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Wirral area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to supporting young learners during the early stages of their education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum, creating a positive learning environment, and supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development.

This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs who are looking to develop their teaching career within a supportive school setting.



The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching within EYFS
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be creative, enthusiastic, and nurturing in their approach
  • Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team

  • Contract or position start date - ASAP / September 2026
  • Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
  • Contract type - Long-Term
  • Full time/part time - Full Time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Paid to scale
  • Hours - 8:30am - 3:30pm


Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching within EYFS
  • Up to date Safeguarding training (preferred but can be provided)
  • Previous experience working within a UK primary school setting


TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
