CLEANER (PART TIME/TEMPORARY)

Job Title: Cleaner (Part-time, Temporary)

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Location: Honda York, York Business Park, Great North Way, York, YO26 6RB

Contract Dates: 15/06 to 26/06

Hours: Monday to Saturday, 08:00-10:00 (2 hours/day)

Job Overview

We are recruiting a reliable Cleaner to support site cleanliness at Honda York on a short-term basis. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation across designated areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise offices, meeting rooms, corridors, and other assigned areas
• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting
• Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly
• Clean touchpoints (e.g., door handles, switches) to hygiene standards
• Refill consumables (soap, toilet roll, hand towels) where required
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or low stock to the site contact
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals safely

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred (not essential)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work independently and follow instructions
• Basic knowledge of safe use of cleaning products (COSHH awareness advantageous)
