Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Cleaner to join the facilities team at HMP Manchester.

This role is ideal for someone with previous cleaning experience who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean offices, staff areas, communal spaces, and welfare facilities
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitise designated areas
• Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
• Report maintenance issues and health & safety concerns
• Follow all site procedures and security protocols
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times

Requirements

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures
• Basic communication skills
