Cleaning Supervisor

Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites in Chester and West Cheshire. This is a temporary 3–4 month contract, responsible for supervising cleaning teams, maintaining high standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all allocated locations.

A company van will be provided; however, a full UK driving licence is essential due to travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support cleaning operatives across multiple sites
• Carry out regular site inspections to ensure cleaning standards are maintained
• Allocate daily tasks and manage team workloads effectively
• Train, support, and motivate cleaning staff
• Ensure all cleaning work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
• Monitor and request cleaning supplies and materials when required
• Respond professionally to client and site feedback
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety procedures and company standards
• Travel between Chester and West Cheshire sites using company vehicle

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Cleaning Supervisor or Team Leader role
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Ability to travel between multiple sites
• Knowledge of cleaning standards and health & safety regulations
