CNC Machinist

£19.00 p/h+ | Bonus | 32 Days Annual Leave | Monday to Thursday Days | Overtime Rates | Pension

A CNC Machinist opportunity has become available with a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing business supplying high-quality components to a diverse customer base. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, the company is looking to strengthen its machining team with the addition of a CNC Machinist on a permanent day shift basis. In return, the successful individual will receive a competitive hourly rate, bonus, overtime opportunities and the chance to join a stable manufacturing environment operating a Monday to Thursday working week.

CNC Machinist responsibilities include -

• Setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures and machine settings to achieve required tolerances.
• Producing components to exacting quality standards and customer requirements.

CNC Machinist desirable skills and experience -

• Previous experience working within a CNC Operator, CNC Miller, or similar machining position.
• Ability to set, operate and programme CNC milling machinery within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings confidently.
• Good understanding of engineering tolerances and quality requirements.
