CNC Machinist

Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Job Type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, working rotating shifts between 6:00am and 10:00pm
We’re looking for a CNC Machinist with CNC turning experience, ideally with Mazak machinery and Mazatrol controls. Strong general CNC candidates with some Mazak exposure are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Set, operate, and program CNC turning machines
- Manufacture precision components (mainly Mazak)
- Read engineering drawings and CNC programs
- Carry out inspections using measuring equipment
- Maintain machines and ensure quality standards
- Troubleshoot issues and adjust tooling/programs
- Follow ISO9001, HSE, Lean, and 5S practices
- Keep accurate production records and support team workflow
Skills required:
Essential
- CNC turning experience
- Mazak and Mazatrol/Fanuc knowledge
- Ability to read drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Skilled with inspection tools
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Mazatrol programming
- Multi-axis CNC experience
- Knowledge of Lean/5S
- ISO9001 experience
