Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a full-time role offering stable hours and the opportunity for a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating CNC machines, specifically Protec CNC machines
- Setting up machines and ensuring correct tooling is used
- Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently
- Monitoring machine operations and making minor adjustments where required
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure components meet specifications
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience operating Protec CNC machines
- Previous experience in a CNC Operator role
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Willingness to transition from temporary to permanent employment
