Are you an experienced CNC FICEP Operator with a background in structural steel, looking to join a well-established company offering long-term security within a modern fabrication environment?

Delivering everything from bespoke metalwork packages to large-scale structural steel projects of up to 1,000 tonnes, the company has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and investment in its people and facilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting, programming, and operating Ficep CNC machinery within a busy structural steel fabrication workshop. You will work from engineering drawings to ensure steel sections are processed accurately and efficiently, playing a key role in supporting the delivery of major commercial projects.

This role would suit an experienced CNC Ficep Operator from a structural steel background, seeking a stable, long-term position within a financially secure and growing business.

The Role:

• Setting, programming, and operating Ficep CNC machinery
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Selecting and loading raw materials into machines, ensuring correct alignment and secure positioning
• Monitoring machine performance throughout the production process
• Carrying out routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn components
• Troubleshooting and resolving minor machine issues to minimise downtime

The Person:

• Previous experience setting and programming Ficep CNC machines
• Structural steel fabrication experience
