Salary: Up to £32,200 per year DOE

Our client is a successful fabrication and manufacturing business supplying high-quality metal components to a range of industries. Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, they are looking to strengthen their production team with an experienced CNC Plasma Operator.

This is more than a standard machine operating position. You'll play a key role in the fabrication process, taking responsibility for producing precision-cut components while maintaining high quality and production standards.

Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you'll be involved in operating CNC plasma cutting machinery, quality checking finished parts, and supporting wider fabrication activities across the workshop.

* Set and operate CNC plasma cutting machinery
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* Load and unload sheet metal and fabrication materials
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where required
* Carry out first-off and in-process quality checks
* Perform basic machine maintenance and fault finding
* Support fabrication and assembly activities when required
* Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
* Maintain high housekeeping and health & safety standards

We would like to hear from candidates with experience in:

* CNC plasma, laser, punch or profile cutting operations
* Fabrication, welding or sheet metal manufacturing
* Reading and working from engineering drawings
* Quality inspection and dimensional checking
* Manufacturing or engineering environments

You will be a reliable, hands-on individual who enjoys working within a fast-paced workshop and takes pride in producing quality work.
